Arnica is the undisputed champion of herbal remedies for bumps, bruises, and sore muscles. While our infused oil is a gentle workhorse, the Arnica Absolute is its potent, concentrated, and fast-acting counterpart. An absolute is created using a solvent extraction, capturing a much higher concentration of the plant's active compounds.
The result is a thick, dark, and powerful extract that we use in our most heavy-duty, targeted formulas. Its power comes from a compound called helenalin, which is incredibly effective at calming inflammation and soothing the soft tissue trauma that results in a bruise or a sprain.
