About This Glossary

This ingredient glossary exists to educate our customers about the raw materials we work with at Em'z Blendz. Knowledge is power, and we want you to understand what goes into (and onto) your body.

Important notes:

  • This glossary is a work in progress — we're actively adding ingredients and updating information
  • Not every ingredient listed here appears in our current products (some may be from discontinued items or future formulations)
  • Some ingredients in our current products may not be listed here yet — we're working on it
  • We do not sell individual raw ingredients — these materials are professionally blended into our finished products
  • For exact ingredient lists, always check individual product labels or product pages
  • Ingredients are listed in descending order on labels (most to least)

This glossary represents our evolving palette of materials — think of it like a painter showing you their colors. Not every color goes into every painting, but understanding each one helps you appreciate the final work.

Ground Walnut
We've been grinding walnut shells for exfoliation since our early days, and after 25+ years, we've learned exactly how fine to make them. Too coarse and they scratch. Too fine and they don't do anything. We hit that sweet spot...
Poppy Seeds
Poppy seeds might seem like an unusual skincare ingredient, but these tiny black spheres pack serious exfoliating power into a remarkably gentle package. While most people know them from lemon muffins, we've been using them in our soap bars for...
