The same soap that cares for your skin, now caring for your home.
Every batch of handcrafted soap leaves behind ends and trimmings. Too small to sell, too good to throw away. So we grate them up, mix in washing soda and borax, and bag it. What you get is a concentrated, all-purpose cleaner made from at least 10 different varieties of the same olive and coconut oil soap bars we've been making for over 25 years.
The mix changes batch to batch. One week it might include shreds from our Age Well facial bars. The next, bits of Mango Tea or Oatmeal Milk & Honey. The color varies. The subtle scent shifts. But it's always real soap, and it always works.
"I hated throwing away perfectly good soap just because it was the wrong shape. These ends and trimmings are the same formula, the same quality. Grating them up for laundry and cleaning just made sense. Now our scraps clean your clothes, your dishes, your sinks. Nothing wasted. Full circle."
Why You'll Love The Natural Laundry Soap
- Truly All-Purpose: Laundry, dishes, sinks, tubs, floors. One bag handles it all. Sprinkle it dry like Comet for scrubbing, dissolve it for mopping, toss it in the wash for laundry.
- Made From Real Soap: Grated shreds of our handcrafted bars mixed with washing soda and borax. Olive oil, coconut oil, whatever else was in that week's batch. No synthetic detergents, no fillers.
- At Least 10 Varieties Per Batch: We make sure every bag has shreds from at least 10 different soap bars. You're getting the range.
- Zero-Waste: Every scoop you use is soap that would have been trimmed off and discarded. Good for your home, good for the planet.
- No Plastic Bottles: Comes in a paper bag. You probably have a mason jar already. Put it in there.
- Gentle on Fabrics: Cleans without the chemical residue that can irritate sensitive skin or build up in your machine.
This Is Why We Do It
"I tried this on a whim. I've been wanting to get away from the plastic bottles of commercial laundry soap, so the idea of this tickled me. I wondered if it would really get things clean. So far I've used it for about 8 loads, and the clothes all seem clean and odor-free. So far so good!"
How to Use It
For Laundry: Add 2 tablespoons to ยผ cup per load, sprinkling directly on clothes in the washer. Works in standard and HE machines.
For Scrubbing Sinks & Tubs: Sprinkle dry onto the surface, add a little water, and scrub. Works like Comet, but it's just soap.
For Mopping & General Cleaning: Dissolve ยผ cup in a gallon of warm water.
For Dishes: Add a tablespoon to a sink of warm water, or sprinkle directly on pots and pans. Not for dishwashers.
Key Notes
- A Subtle, Shifting Scent
- Because this soap is made from various bar ends, the scent is a gentle medley that changes batch to batch. Always fresh, never overpowering, never exactly the same twice.
- The Formula
- Washing soda, borax, and grated shreds from at least 10 different kinds of our handcrafted soap bars. The primary soap oils are olive and coconut, but depending on the batch, you might get bits of shea butter, goat milk, or essential oils from whatever bars we were making that week.

Q: Will this work in my HE washer?
A: Yes. Use 2 tablespoons per load. It dissolves well and rinses clean. Some people add a splash of white vinegar to the rinse cycle, but it's not required.
Q: What does it smell like?
A: Subtle and clean. The scent shifts batch to batch depending on which soap bars went into the mix. You might catch hints of lavender one time, citrus the next. It's never strong or perfumy.
Q: Can I use this on delicates or baby clothes?
A: Absolutely. It's the same gentle, skin-safe soap we make for your body. No harsh detergents, no optical brighteners, no synthetic fragrances. Just soap.
