Calendula Absolute

While our calendula-infused oil is the gentle, soothing base of many products, the Calendula Absolute is the potent, concentrated heart of the flower. An absolute is created using a solvent extraction, which is able to capture a broader and more concentrated range of the plant's therapeutic compounds than a simple oil infusion.

The resulting extract is a thick, dark, and resinous liquid with a deep, warm, and herbaceous aroma. It smells like a field of calendula flowers concentrated into a single drop. It is not a simple floral scent; it is the smell of pure, potent, botanical function.

This is one of the most powerful anti-inflammatory ingredients in our entire workshop. We use it in very small, precise amounts in our most targeted healing salves and restorative treatments. It is incredibly effective at calming redness, soothing angry skin, and supporting the skin's rapid repair processes. It is a true 'active' ingredient for skin in crisis.
