Decyl Glucoside

When we formulate a liquid cleanser, we need a way to create that satisfying lather and washing action. Decyl Glucoside is one of the best and gentlest tools for the job. It's part of a class of 'glucosides,' which are cleansers made by combining a sugar (glucose) with a fatty alcohol (from coconut, in this case). The result is a surfactant that is 100% plant-derived and completely biodegradable.

Its primary benefit is its mildness. It is known to be one of the least irritating surfactants available, making it a perfect choice for facial cleansers, baby washes, and products for highly sensitive skin.
