Unlike steam-distilled oils, our lime oil is cold-pressed directly from the peel. This method preserves the bright, effervescent top notes that make the aroma so vibrant.

Honesty is key when working with citrus oils. Because our lime oil is cold-pressed, it can cause photosensitivity. This means you shouldn't apply products with it to skin that will be exposed to direct sun. For this reason, we only use it in wash-off products like soaps and scrubs, where the risk is negligible.
