When we say our Autumn Magic Tub Truffle contains real nutmeg, we mean it. Ground nutmeg powder, not "nutmeg fragrance" or "nutmeg-inspired scent blend." The actual spice.
There's a reason for this beyond authenticity (though authenticity matters to us). Nutmeg has been used in traditional skincare for centuries. It has mild antimicrobial properties that help keep skin clean. The fine powder provides gentle exfoliation as you soak. And the natural oils in the spice add warmth that you can actually feel, not just smell.
We're careful about where we use it. Nutmeg is potent stuff. In our Autumn Magic products, the concentration is enough to contribute real benefits and genuine scent, but gentle enough for a relaxing bath. You get the warming, spiced experience without any irritation.
The practical effect: when you use a bath product with real nutmeg powder, the water has a subtle, genuine spice scent that synthetic fragrances can't quite replicate. It's the difference between a pumpkin spice latte and actual pumpkin pie. Both are good. One is real.
