Organic Apricot Kernel Oil

Apricot kernel oil is the definition of an elegant carrier oil. When you pour it, you see its light, pale-yellow hue, and when it touches the skin, it feels incredibly fine and silky. It absorbs almost immediately, leaving a soft, smooth finish without any greasy feeling. This makes it a star player in our facial product formulations.

It's structurally very similar to sweet almond oil but is noticeably lighter in texture. This is why we prefer it for facial serums and oils. It’s rich in oleic and linoleic acids, which are fantastic for nourishing the skin barrier and maintaining softness and elasticity. It does the work of a much heavier oil without the weight.

We choose a virgin, cold-pressed oil from Spain. 'Cold-pressed' means the oil is extracted without high heat, which preserves its delicate vitamin content and beneficial properties. 'Virgin' means it is minimally processed, retaining the truest expression of the kernel.

This is our go-to for creating products that need to be gentle, effective, and feel almost weightless on the skin. It provides deep moisture in the most unobtrusive way possible, making it a true workhorse in our apothecary.
