Organic Evening Primrose Oil

Evening Primrose Oil is a classic, beloved skincare oil for good reason. It has a soft, silky texture and a beautiful light-golden color. While it shares some properties with borage oil, it's generally gentler and used more broadly as a nourishing base oil in our facial creams and serums.

Like borage oil, its star component is Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), which is essential for maintaining a healthy skin barrier. Evening primrose is a wonderful source of this fatty acid, making it effective at soothing dryness and improving the skin’s ability to retain moisture. It leaves skin feeling supple and deeply cared for.

We use a cold-pressed, refined version. The cold-pressing preserves the delicate fatty acids, while the refining process removes color and scent. This makes it an incredibly versatile ingredient that can be added to formulas without altering the carefully crafted aromatic profile of our essential oil blends.
