Jojoba Oil

Jojoba is one of the most fascinating materials in our workshop. Though we call it an oil, it is technically a liquid plant wax. This is a critical distinction, because its structure is almost identical to the sebum our own skin produces. This means the skin recognizes it, allowing it to absorb beautifully without a greasy feel.

Because of this unique compatibility, jojoba is a master skin balancer. For oily skin, it can help regulate over-production of sebum. For dry skin, it provides a deep, protective layer of conditioning moisture. This intelligence is why we use it as a foundational carrier oil in so many of our facial serums and body oils.

The texture of jojoba is another reason we love it. It has a silky, substantive glide that feels incredible on the skin, leaving behind a soft, velvety finish. It is also a very stable wax, giving our products a long and healthy shelf life without the need for synthetic preservatives. It's a true multi-functional powerhouse.

We source our pure, golden jojoba oil from an organic farm in the USA. It is cold-pressed from the seeds, ensuring all of its nourishing properties are retained. Itโ€™s a simple, elegant, and profoundly effective ingredient that works in harmony with your skin.
