Yuzu is the most elegant and complex of all the citrus oils. Its aroma is a breathtaking blend of tart grapefruit and sweet mandarin, but with a distinct, dry floral note that elevates it into the world of fine perfume. It's a sophisticated, nuanced citrus that is both familiar and exotic.

In Japan, Yuzu is revered, and bathing with the fresh fruits on the winter solstice is a tradition believed to ward off illness and soothe the skin. The essential oil captures this same uplifting and restorative spirit. It is one of the most effective essential oils for calming anxiety and lifting away feelings of stress and sadness.

In skincare, its properties are similar to its citrus cousins. It is a wonderful clarifying and toning oil, helping to brighten a dull complexion and provide a gentle, purifying cleanse. As with other expressed citrus oils, it can be photosensitizing, so we use it with care in our formulas.

Our organic Yuzu is sourced from South Korea. It is a precious, beautiful oil that we use in our most special blends to create a feeling of bright, sophisticated joy and profound calm.
