Roman Chamomile Hydrosol

A hydrosol is the beautiful co-product of making essential oil. As steam passes through the chamomile flowers, it picks up both the volatile oil and water-soluble components of the plant. When the steam cools, the essential oil separates from the water. That aromatic water, the hydrosol, is what we bottle. It's like a gentler, more holistic expression of the plant.
