Rose Damask Absolute

Rose absolute is not the same as rose essential oil, and the difference is breathtaking. While essential oil is steam-distilled, an absolute is made using a solvent extraction. This gentle process captures heavier, more delicate aromatic molecules, resulting in a scent that is deeper, sweeter, and truer to the fresh flower. It has honeyed, warm, almost spicy facets you won't find in the distilled oil.
