Strawberry hydrosol is what happens when you steam-distill actual strawberries. The water carries the fruit's natural aromatic compounds, vitamin C, and antioxidants. No synthetic fragrance can touch it. When you smell real strawberry hydrosol, you know immediately. It's sun-ripened fruit, not candy.
We use strawberry hydrosol as the water base in our seasonal cocoa butter creams. It does double duty: delivering genuine strawberry scent while adding skin-brightening vitamin C and antioxidants. The mild astringency helps products absorb cleanly without feeling sticky.
You'll find strawberry hydrosol in our Chocolate Strawberry Cocoa Butter Cream and White Chocolate Strawberry Cocoa Butter Cream. Both are seasonal favorites that people ask about year-round. The hydrosol is a big part of why. Synthetic strawberry fragrance smells like candy. This smells like the real thing, because it is.
Hydrosols have a shorter shelf life than essential oils or synthetic fragrances. That's one reason we make these creams in small seasonal batches rather than keeping them in stock year-round. Fresh hydrosol, fresh cream, better product.
