While everyone knows and loves Aloe Vera, its wild cousin, Aloe Ferox, is a lesser-known but more potent powerhouse. Also known as Cape Aloe, this variety grows untamed and has not been hybridized, resulting in a plant that is richer in therapeutic compounds. It is, in many ways, the original, undiluted version of this famous healing plant.
Studies have shown that Aloe Ferox can contain significantly higher levels of minerals and amino acids than its more common relative.
