About This Glossary

This ingredient glossary exists to educate our customers about the raw materials we work with at Em'z Blendz. Knowledge is power, and we want you to understand what goes into (and onto) your body.

Important notes:

  • This glossary is a work in progress β€” we're actively adding ingredients and updating information
  • Not every ingredient listed here appears in our current products (some may be from discontinued items or future formulations)
  • Some ingredients in our current products may not be listed here yet β€” we're working on it
  • We do not sell individual raw ingredients β€” these materials are professionally blended into our finished products
  • For exact ingredient lists, always check individual product labels or product pages
  • Ingredients are listed in descending order on labels (most to least)

This glossary represents our evolving palette of materials β€” think of it like a painter showing you their colors. Not every color goes into every painting, but understanding each one helps you appreciate the final work.

Aloe Ferox

A potent variety of aloe, also known as Cape Aloe, that grows wild. It is known for having a higher concentration of minerals and amino acids than Aloe Vera, making it a powerful skin soother and healer.

Aloe Vera Oil

A light, soothing carrier oil created by infusing the aloe vera plant in a stable base oil. It captures the famous calming and moisturizing properties of aloe in a non-greasy, easily absorbed oil form.

Aloe Vera Butter

A soft, creamy butter that combines the soothing power of aloe vera with the rich, moisturizing properties of coconut oil. It melts on contact with the skin, delivering a potent dose of hydration and calm without a greasy feel.
