Blueberry Powder

Blueberry powder is exactly what it sounds like: whole blueberries, freeze-dried and milled fine enough to fold into a batch. It carries the same anthocyanins and vitamin C that make the fresh fruit such a famous little antioxidant, plus a naturally pretty berry tint.
We'll be straight with you about what it does and doesn't do in soap. Those antioxidants are real, but soap is a rinse-off product with a high pH and a few seconds of contact time, so we won't pretend a bar delivers a blueberry's worth of nutrition to your skin. In a wash-off bar, the powder mostly earns its keep as a natural touch of color and a small botanical nod.
That honesty is sort of the point. We'd rather use a real berry for a soft, earthy tint than reach for a synthetic dye and call it a day. You'll find it in our Red, White & Berry Soap Bar, where it joins mineral color to help build those layered summer stripes.
