Bright mango. Black tea depth. The scent that makes people ask what you're burning.
Mango Tea started as one of Emily's experiments and became one of our most-requested scents. The mango hits first. Ripe, sweet, unmistakably tropical. But then the black tea comes in underneath and does something interesting. It grounds the whole thing. Adds a tannic, slightly earthy note that keeps the mango from veering into candy territory. The result is a scent that's fresh and bright but somehow also sophisticated. Like iced tea on a hot afternoon, if that iced tea were really, really good.
We pour this one in a tin with a snug-fitting lid, which means it travels well. Toss it in a bag for a weekend trip. Keep one at the office. The lid seals in the scent when you're not burning it, so it stays fresh longer.
"People hear 'mango' and expect something that smells like a smoothie shop. This isn't that. The black tea makes it interesting. It's the scent I reach for when I want something bright but not juvenile."
Why You'll Love the Mango Tea Soy Wax Candle in Tin
- A Scent With Depth: Bright tropical mango balanced by the tannic warmth of black tea. Not a one-note fruit bomb.
- Clean, Even Burn: Hand-poured with our soy and coconut wax blend. Burns cleaner and longer than paraffin, no black soot on your walls.
- 35+ Hours of Burn Time: A lot of candle for the size. You'll get weeks of use out of this tin.
- Travel-Ready: The tin lid seals tight, so you can pack it without worrying about the scent escaping or the wax getting dinged up.

Get the Most From Your Candle
First Burn: Let it burn until the wax pools to the edges. About 2-3 hours. Skip this step and you'll get tunneling for the life of the candle.
Wick Trim: ¼" before every light. Trim while warm. Long wicks mean soot and weird burning.
Burn Time: 3-4 hours max. More than that overheats the container.
The Non-Negotiables: Never leave unattended. Seriously. Keep from kids, pets, drafts, anything flammable. Heat-resistant, level surface only. Stop burning glass candles at about ½" of wax remaining.
Clean Exit: Dip the wick into the wax pool, straighten it back up. No smoke, easy relight next time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What does Mango Tea actually smell like?
A: Ripe mango hits first, sweet and tropical. Then black tea comes in underneath with a slightly tannic, grounding note. It's fruity but not candy-sweet. More like a fancy iced tea than a smoothie.
Q: How strong is the scent throw?
A: Medium to strong. In a small room, you'll notice it within 15 to 20 minutes. In a larger space, give it a bit longer. The tin size works best for bedrooms, bathrooms, and offices rather than giant open-concept living rooms.
Q: Is the wax soy or something else?
A: It's our soy and coconut wax blend. Burns cleaner and slower than paraffin, produces minimal soot, and throws scent well. We hand-pour every candle in our Oregon studio.
