Once daily, ideally in the evening, apply a few drops to your clean face and neck. Gently massage until fully absorbed, then follow with a moisturizer. A slight tingling sensation can be expected with initial use of topical Vitamin C. If it's too strong, mix the serum with your moisturizer before application. Patch testing is advised.

Warms the skin tone without irritating

If warming ones skin tone is brightening, then it does as it claims. I was going to trying using it consistently for two months, but I wasn't sure if it was making my brown spots darker, so I paused and plan to resume again. It is definitely gentle, which I like.
