Felted Soap Balls | Colorful Wool-Wrapped Soap Spheres

These look like something from a craft fair you'd actually want to buy. Spheres of real soap, wrapped in colorful wool felt that we wet-felt by hand right here in our studio. Each one comes out different. The colors swirl together like marbled paper or, yes, tiny planets.

But they're not just pretty. The wool felt creates a gentle exfoliation as you wash. No washcloth needed. No loofah. Just the sphere in your hand, lathering up and polishing your skin at the same time. The felt also makes the soap easier to grip (no more chasing a slippery bar around the tub) and helps it last longer by letting it dry between uses.

And here's the part we're proud of: these are made from our leftover soap scraps. Odd cuts, end pieces, batches that didn't quite fill the mold. Instead of waste, we get these. When the soap finally runs out, you're left with a soft felted pad that works as a cleansing cloth on its own.

How to Use It

Wet the sphere, work up a lather, and wash. The wool will create a rich foam while gently buffing your skin. After use, set it somewhere it can dry. No soap dish required, though it won't hurt. The felt shrinks slightly as the soap inside diminishes. When the soap is finally gone, keep using the felted pad as a washcloth.
