  • Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets.


  • To promote even burning, keep candles away from drafts.


  • Keep the wick trimmed to ¼ inch. Trim the wick with scissors while it is still warm and flexible.


  • Never touch the wick when it is cold as it may break.


  • When burning candles, let them burn long enough each time to create a pool of wax that almost covers the diameter of the candle.


  • The first time you light your candle, let it burn uninterrupted for 2 ½ to 3 hours.


  • If it appears that the wax pool is not centered, use a non-flammable implement to push the wick towards the thicker side.


  • If a pillar does drip, extinguish and allow it to cool before re-lighting. Plug any channels with wax.


  • To avoid smoke, extinguish candles by pushing the wick into the wax pool with a non-flammable implement, then gently pulling it straight.


  • If a thick wall develops from not burning long enough, cut the candle wall down to the level of the wax pool and resume proper burning times (1 hour for every inch in diameter).

Decent candle

The candle looks beautiful in the tin can, and feels very pure and clean.
However, I found the scent of this candle to be very mild, almost not noticeable. As well, the burn time appears to be less than 40+ hours unfortunately!

Hi Eric, Thank you for your review. We make our candles with 100% natural soy wax and the Peaceful Eucalyptus Pine candle is scented only with 100% pure and natural essential oils. Sometimes plant-based essential oils in pure soy wax don’t throw scent quite as potently as fragrance-loaded paraffin wax candles (a toxic petroleum byproduct), but we like to provide options for people looking for healthy candle burning experiences. Also, you will notice a much longer life from your candle if you follow a few candle burning tips: Make sure to keep the wick trimmed to ¼ inch and keep your burn-times to around two hours at a time. When we have burned our tin candles for two hours each time allowing for the wax to cool in-between uses, we have recorded more than 40 hours of burn time.
