Every bath ends the same way. The coat gets clean, the towel comes out, and the driest parts of your dog (pads, nose, elbows) are sitting right there, freshly washed and ready for something better than air. This set is the whole sequence: our large handcrafted Doggie Shampoo Bar, about 5 oz of it, plus a full tin of Nose to Toe-Beans™, the balm we built to follow it.
The two were designed as a pair. The bar builds a rich, creamy lather that cleans coat and skin, and rinses without residue. The balm goes on after, while the skin is still barely damp, which is exactly when it spreads thinnest and sinks in best. It's water-free, essential-oil-free, and fragrance-free, since paws and noses get licked. And because the bar is a solid, the whole set is nearly package-free. A routine, not a pile of plastic bottles.

Step one: wet the coat thoroughly and work the shampoo bar into a lather, either in your hands or straight on the fur. Massage down to the skin, then rinse well.
Step two: towel dry until the skin is just slightly damp, then massage a small amount of Nose to Toe-Beans™ into paw pads, nose, elbows, or any rough patch. A little covers a lot.

Q: Why does the shampoo bar have essential oils when the balm has none?
A: Because one rinses off and one stays on. The bar's lavender, lemongrass, and cedarwood do their work in the bath and go down the drain. The balm lives on paws and noses all day, right in licking range, so we left every essential oil and fragrance out of it. Different jobs, different rules.
Q: Why a shampoo bar instead of liquid dog shampoo?
A: A solid bar is concentrated where liquid shampoo is mostly water. You get more washes per ounce, nothing spills in the cabinet, and there's no plastic bottle to throw away. The lather is the same rich, creamy clean; it just comes off a bar instead of out of a pump.
Q: How long will the set last?
A: Depends entirely on your dog's relationship with mud. The 5 oz bar handles many baths, months of them for a monthly-bath dog. The 1 oz balm tin is concentrated and water-free, so a pea-sized amount covers a full set of paws; most people take months to finish it.
