Light it. Breathe in. Let the room shift.

First Burn: Let it burn until the wax pools to the edges. About 2-3 hours. Skip this step and you'll get tunneling for the life of the candle.

Wick Trim: ¼" before every light. Trim while warm. Long wicks mean soot and weird burning.

Burn Time: 3-4 hours max. More than that overheats the container.

The Non-Negotiables: Never leave unattended. Seriously. Keep from kids, pets, drafts, anything flammable. Heat-resistant, level surface only. Stop burning glass candles at about ½" of wax remaining.

Clean Exit: Dip the wick into the wax pool, straighten it back up. No smoke, easy relight next time.

Q: Is this vanilla scent sweet like candy or more authentic?

A: This is the opposite of a cheap, sugary vanilla. We specifically formulated it to smell like a real vanilla bean: warm, velvety, and deeply comforting without being cloying or artificial. Think baking vanilla, not birthday cake frosting.

Q: What's the difference between soy wax and your soy-coconut blend?

A: Both are natural, non-toxic, and clean-burning. The soy-coconut blend throws scent slightly better and burns even more smoothly. We're transitioning between the two as we continuously improve our craft. Either way, you're getting a candle that's renewable, biodegradable, and kind to your air quality.

Q: How do I get the most burn time out of my candle?

A: The first burn is everything. Let it go until the wax pools all the way to the edges, about 2-3 hours. This prevents tunneling. After that, trim your wick to ¼" before each use and don't burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Stop burning when about ½" of wax remains. Follow these steps and you'll get the full 55+ hours.
