A vintage crystal that catches light. Deep blue stones that hold it. Copper that warms the whole thing up.
The centerpiece is a vintage Swarovski sun crystal. They don't make these anymore, and when our supply is gone, that's it. The facets throw light in a way that modern crystals don't quite match. We've been holding onto these for pieces that deserve them.
Around the crystal, deep blue sodalite beads add weight and contrast. The blue is rich, almost ink-like, with the subtle white veining that makes each stone different. Hand-hammered copper accents break up the beads with warm, textured metal that develops more character over time. The whole thing hangs from a beeswax-treated cotton cord that adjusts from 16 to 20 inches, so you can wear it high on the collarbone or let it fall lower.
"I found these vintage Swarovski sun crystals years ago and couldn't let them go. There's something about the way they fracture light. I wanted to build something around that brilliance, so I chose sodalite for the contrast. That deep, quiet blue makes the crystal's fire even more striking. The copper just felt right. It's warm where the blue is cool, organic where the crystal is precise."
