Sandalwood, vanilla, amber, and rosewood in a tin that burns 30+ hours
The day is over. It just hasn't gotten the message yet. Slow Down is how you send it. Light this and the first thing you get is something sweet and a little fruity, quick and bright. Then it settles. Real sandalwood, dry and soft, with rosewood beside it and a hint of coconut keeping things smooth. Underneath, amber and vanilla hold the floor and stay there for the rest of the night.
It's warm without being a dessert. That's the trick with sandalwood and vanilla; most versions tip into cupcake territory the second you light them. This one doesn't. The sandalwood stays in the room the whole burn, right next to the vanilla, and the amber keeps both of them low and steady. Cream-colored wax, soy, coconut, and apricot blend, cotton wick, phthalate-free fragrance. Thirty-plus hours of evenings.
"Sandalwood and vanilla is a scent people already trust. What I wanted for the candle was more room around it. The rosewood and amber give it depth, the fruity top keeps it from feeling heavy, and the sandalwood is real, which you can tell when it's burning. It's the one I light when I'm done for the day and I mean it."

Small shop, real humans. Sometimes the label gets reprinted faster than the formula changes; sometimes the formula is current and the label is catching up. If you're managing an allergy or sensitivity, the safest path is to check both this page and the printed label. If anything's missing or unclear, ask us. Get the Most From Your Candle
First Burn: Let it burn until the wax pools to the edges. About 2-3 hours. Skip this step and you'll get tunneling for the life of the candle.
Wick Trim: ¼" before every light. Trim while warm. Long wicks mean soot and weird burning.
Burn Time: 3-4 hours max. More than that overheats the container.
The Non-Negotiables: Never leave unattended. Seriously. Keep from kids, pets, drafts, anything flammable. Heat-resistant, level surface only. Stop burning glass candles at about ½" of wax remaining.
Clean Exit: Dip the wick into the wax pool, straighten it back up. No smoke, easy relight next time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is it going to be too sweet?
A: No. Vanilla is in there, but it's a base note, not the headline. The sandalwood, rosewood, and amber keep it dry and warm rather than sugary. If you've been burned by "sandalwood vanilla" candles that smell like frosting, this one lands closer to a wood shop with a cup of chai in the corner.
Q: Is this the same scent as your Sandalwood Vanilla shaving line?
A: Related, not identical. The shaving soap, aftershave, and beard oil are built around sandalwood and vanilla straight up. The candle adds amber, rosewood, coconut, and a sweet fruity top so it fills a room instead of sitting close to the skin. If you like the shave line, you'll recognize this immediately. It's the same family, wider shoulders.
Q: Why the soy, coconut, and apricot blend?
A: Soy burns clean but can be quiet with deep, woody scents. Coconut wax pushes the fragrance out into the room, and apricot wax gives a smooth, even pour with that cream color. The result is sandalwood you can actually smell from across the room, for the whole burn. First-burn rule applies: let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the tin, about two hours, or it tunnels.
