Every product is handmade in small batches by real people (hi, that's us!). Orders usually ship in 3 to 5 days, then the Post Office takes it from there. Think of it as farm-to-skin, not Prime-to-porch.

A daily mist for hair that's about to have a long day.

The Daily Dew is the leave-in that keeps hair behaving when life does its thing to it. Heat tools. Wind. Pool. Three flights and a rental car. Mist a few sprays into damp or dry hair, comb through, and the strand is hydrated, smoothed, and a little more resilient than it was a minute ago.

The base is aloe and neroli hydrosol, which is what makes it feel cool on the scalp instead of slick. Hydrolyzed quinoa protein and panthenol (the pro-vitamin B5 your salon talks about) actually penetrate the cuticle to strengthen, smooth, and add slip. A six-extract botanical blend (artichoke, peppermint, horsetail, nettle, melissa, yucca) earns it the word "tonic" instead of "spray." And behentrimonium methosulfate with cetyl alcohol handle the detangling and the heat-shield work without leaving any of the waxy buildup most leave-ins promise to skip and then deliver.

The scent is bergamot up top and vanilla underneath. Light. Doesn't compete with your perfume.

What's not in it: silicones, sulfates, plastic-feeling polymers, any of the things that make hair look smooth in the bottle and worse on your head three weeks in.

"I wanted a daily that did the boring work properly. Hydrate, detangle, protect from heat, leave the hair alone. We use real botanical extracts, not just a name on the label, because that's the part of a tonic that actually earns the word. Some of these extracts have been in our hair line for years; the panthenol-and-quinoa combination is the new piece that turned this into a leave-in I'd reach for in the morning."

Why You'll Love the Daily Dew | Leave-In Hair Tonic

  • Hydrates Without Buildup: The aloe and neroli hydrosol base lands cool and absorbs fast. No greasy after-feel, no waxy weight on day two.
  • Heat-Tool Ready: Behentrimonium methosulfate, cetyl alcohol, and panthenol form a thin protective layer around the strand. Mist before the blow-dryer or flat iron and let them do their job.
  • Strengthens Over Time: Hydrolyzed quinoa is a complete protein, meaning it carries the full set of amino acids hair needs to rebuild and stay elastic. Daily use is when this kind of ingredient earns its keep.
  • The Real Botanical Complex: Six leaf extracts (artichoke, peppermint, horsetail, nettle, melissa, yucca) chosen for actual scalp and strand benefits, not for sounding plant-forward on a label.
  • Light, Honest Scent: Bergamot and vanilla. Not a fragrance bomb. Gone before lunch.

Key Ingredients

Aloe Vera & Neroli Hydrosol
The hydrating base. Aloe is one of the few ingredients that hydrates the scalp without leaving a residue. Neroli hydrosol (the cool, sweet steam left over from distilling neroli essential oil) adds a soft, balancing note that calms reactive scalps.
Hydrolyzed Quinoa Protein & Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5)
The strengtheners. Quinoa is one of the few complete plant proteins, meaning it carries all the amino acids hair needs to rebuild structure. Panthenol penetrates the strand to lock in moisture and improve elasticity. New to this formula. Also new to most leave-in sprays in this category, which usually skip them.
The Six-Extract Botanical Complex
Artichoke, peppermint, horsetail, nettle, melissa, and yucca leaf extracts. Chosen for documented scalp and strand benefits: circulation support, silica content, anti-inflammatory action, scalp balance. This is the part of the formula that earns the word "tonic."
Behentrimonium Methosulfate & Cetyl Alcohol
The detanglers. Behentrimonium methosulfate is the gentle conditioning agent that earned a reputation for working better than silicones. Cetyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol (not the drying kind) that adds slip and softness. Together they detangle without coating.
Bergamot & Vanilla
Bergamot essential oil for brightness; vanilla absolute for warmth. The scent is intentionally subtle. You shouldn't smell it past the first hour.

Small shop, real humans. Sometimes the label gets reprinted faster than the formula changes; sometimes the formula is current and the label is catching up. If you're managing an allergy or sensitivity, the safest path is to check both this page and the printed label. If anything's missing or unclear, ask us. We'd rather answer the question than have you guess.

Mist a few sprays into damp or dry hair, focusing on mid-lengths to ends. Comb through. Style as usual. Use daily, or before any heat styling. A little goes farther than you think; start with three or four sprays for medium-length hair and adjust from there. If you have fine hair, focus on ends and avoid the roots. If you have curlier or coarser hair, be more generous and mist on damp.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will it weigh down fine hair?

A: No, if you mist appropriately. Daily Dew is built around hydrosols and a fine-mist spray, not the heavy oil-and-silicone bases that most leave-ins use. For fine hair, three to four sprays focused on mid-lengths and ends is plenty. Skip the roots.

Q: How is this different from your Hair Smoothing Serum?

A: Different jobs. The Hair Smoothing Serum is an argan-oil-based smoothing serum for frizz and shine on dry styled hair. Daily Dew is a water-based daily leave-in that hydrates, detangles, and adds heat protection on damp or dry hair. You can use both, or pick the one that matches your routine. The serum is the polish; the tonic is the prep.

Q: Does it actually protect from heat?

A: Yes. Behentrimonium methosulfate, cetyl alcohol, and panthenol all form a thin protective layer around the cuticle that helps shield the strand from heat-tool damage. It is not a substitute for using a reasonable heat setting, but it does meaningful work as a heat-prep step.
