Is this soap drying if I don't have oily skin? Not at all. While its natural astringent properties are great for balancing oily skin, we craft all our soaps using a "superfatting" process. This leaves a portion of moisturizing oils, like olive oil and shea butter, in the final bar, ensuring a rich, conditioning lather that cleanses without stripping your skin.

Great Find

We stayed at the Proctor mansion bed and breakfast, where the soap they provided was Em'z Blendz. They provided us sample sizes of lavendar and the lemon. I liked the fragrance so much I ordered 3 of the mixed 4 packs.

I haven't used this soap yet, but love the scent and leave it out on a shelf in my bathroom. Love the natural essential oils used in this soap.

Donna, that scent is the real thing, lemon verbena essential oil with pure lemon behind it, nothing synthetic anywhere in the bar. There are actual calendula petals folded through it too, a little surprise waiting for whenever it trades the shelf for the shower. No rush; it is clearly earning its keep where it is.

Lemon Verbena

This is a personal opinion, certainly not based upon Emz Blendz Soap Co.
The scent reminded me too much of the furniture polish 'Lemon Pledge'. I was hoping for a more creamy lemony scent.
