When you feel like garbage, this is the bath.

You know that feeling. Stuffed head, achy body, alternating between too hot and too cold. You need something that works, not something that smells nice. This tub tea is built for sick days. Ten herbs and botanicals chosen specifically because they've been used for generations to ease cold and flu symptoms. Steep it, pour it in the tub, get in, and let the steam carry the eucalyptus and peppermint into your sinuses while the Epsom salts and ginger work on your sore muscles.

It's not complicated. You're making a giant pot of medicinal tea and bathing in it. The muslin bag is included. Makes about four baths, which should get you through the worst of whatever you're fighting.

"I formulated this the way my grandmother would have. White willow bark for aches, ginger for circulation, eucalyptus and peppermint to open everything up. It's not fancy. It's functional. When you're sick, you don't want a spa moment. You want to feel less terrible."

β€” Emily Whitlock, Co-Founder & Formulator

"This fantastic blend soothed my achy body and seemed to detox all the bad germs helping me to fight off a virus. A night of extra sleep and plenty of fluids seemed to send me into the direction of wellness!"

β€” Joyce

What's In It

  • Eucalyptus Leaf & Essential Oil: The heavy hitter for congestion. Opens nasal passages and helps you actually breathe.
  • Peppermint: Cooling relief for sinus pressure and muscle aches. Works with the eucalyptus to clear your head.
  • White Willow Bark: Contains salicin, a natural compound similar to aspirin. Traditional remedy for pain and inflammation.
  • Ginger Root: Warming. Gets your circulation moving and soothes sore muscles from the inside out.
  • Juniper Berries: Natural detoxifier. Supports the immune system while you soak.
  • Elder Flower: Traditional cold and flu remedy. Used for centuries to support respiratory health.
  • Epsom Salt: Magnesium sulfate for muscle aches. The foundation of any therapeutic soak.
  • Plus: Orange peel, licorice root, and fennel seeds round out the blend.

How to Use It

Heat about four cups of water in a pot on the stove. Fill the muslin bag with a quarter of the tub tea herbs. Steep in the hot water for five to ten minutes until you've got a strong, dark tea. Let it cool slightly, then pour the tea into your bathwater while you run the tub. Use the muslin bag as a compress or sponge while you soak. Rinse the bag between uses. Four baths per jar.

Eucalyptus leaf, peppermint, elder flower, white willow bark, juniper berries, ginger root, orange peel, licorice root, fennel seeds, eucalyptus essential oil, Epsom salt.

Q: How do I use this? It's not like a bath bomb.

A: You steep it like tea first. Heat four cups of water, put some herbs in the muslin bag, steep for 5-10 minutes, then pour the tea into your bathwater. The bag goes in the tub with you. It's more involved than dropping a bath bomb, but the effect is different. You're bathing in actual herbal medicine.

Q: How many baths does one jar make?

A: About four. Use roughly a quarter of the jar each time. Adjust based on how strong you want it.

Q: Does it actually help when you're sick?

A: The herbs in this blend have been used for generations to ease cold and flu symptoms. The steam carries the eucalyptus and peppermint into your sinuses, the Epsom salt and ginger help with muscle aches, and the whole experience is warming and restorative. It's not a cure. But it makes being sick more bearable.
