I was looking for a facial cleanser...

I was looking for a facial cleanser that can take off my makeup, specifically mascara and this did not do that job. Other than that, I love how it makes my face feel, super clean without drying it out.

Donna, straight answer on the mascara: this bar is a gentle facial cleanser, not a makeup remover, and you are meant to keep it away from your eyes anyway, so it was never going to lift eye makeup. The one you were actually after is our Monoi Cleansing Oil and Makeup Remover. It is an oil cleanser, and oil is what dissolves mascara, so it does the exact thing this bar cannot, and the two make a clean pair: oil first to melt the makeup, then this bar to clean and balance underneath. The clean-without-drying part you already love is this bar doing exactly what it was built for. And the mascara note is a fair one, plus a useful flag for the next person hoping this bar pulls double duty.
