Every product is handmade in small batches by real people (hi, that's us!). Orders usually ship in 3 to 5 days, then the Post Office takes it from there. Think of it as farm-to-skin, not Prime-to-porch.

The bar that turned three simple ingredients into decades of loyal customers.

Back in 1998, Emily made this soap for one reason: her baby's eczema. Nothing worked. Everything claimed to be gentle but left skin tight, dry, irritated. So she went back to basics. Real oats. Fresh goat milk. Local honey. Cold-processed the old way, superfatted so it actually leaves moisture behind instead of stripping it away.

Twenty-seven years later, it's still our most-requested bar. Not because we market it hard. Because people use it, their skin calms down, and they tell everyone they know.

"I made this for my own kids when they were babies and nothing else worked. No tricks, no trendy ingredients. Just oatmeal, milk, and honey in the right proportions with the right process."

— Emily Whitlock, Co-Founder & Formulator

Why You'll Love The Oatmeal, Milk & Honey Soap Bar

  • Actually Gentle: Superfatted formula leaves nourishing oils in your skin instead of washing them down the drain.
  • Real Oats, Real Results: Colloidal oatmeal contains avenanthramides that calm inflammation naturally. Not oat fragrance. Actual oats.
  • Goat Milk Magic: Smaller fat molecules than cow's milk absorb better. Plus natural lactic acid for gentle exfoliation without scrubbing.
  • Honey That Works: Raw Oregon honey is naturally antibacterial and holds moisture against skin.
  • Safe for the Whole Family: Gentle enough for babies, effective enough for adults with stubborn skin issues.

This Is Why We Do It

"This is the only soap my son with eczema can use. It is so creamy and moisturizing!"

— Kristi S.

How to Use It

Wet the bar, work up a lather in your hands or on a washcloth, and apply to skin. Rinse clean. For eczema or very dry skin, skip the washcloth and use your hands only. The oats provide enough gentle texture on their own. Store on a draining soap dish between uses to extend the life of your bar.

Key Ingredients

Colloidal Oatmeal
Ground superfine to release beta-glucans and avenanthramides. These compounds actively reduce redness and calm irritated skin on contact.
Goat Milk
Rich in vitamins A and E, with smaller fat molecules than cow's milk for deeper absorption. The natural lactic acid gently dissolves dead skin cells.
Oregon Honey
Raw and unfiltered from local hives. Natural humectant that draws moisture to skin and keeps it there. Mild antibacterial properties help with blemish-prone skin.
Shea Butter
West African shea adds richness to the lather and extra moisture to the formula. Your skin feels the difference.

Goes Well With

  • Mt. Ashland Soap Bar — When you want to switch up the scent but keep the same gentle formula. Woodsy and grounding where this one is warm and comforting.
  • Coconut Vanilla Shea Butter Cream — Lock in that post-shower softness. Same philosophy, different format. Your dry skin will thank you.
  • Lavender Soap Bar — Another customer favorite for sensitive skin. The lavender essential oil adds calming aromatherapy to your routine.

Simple ingredients. Trusted results. The comfort your skin remembers.

saponified oils of olive, coconut, palm (sustainably sourced), shea butter, goat milk, honey, phthalate-free fragrance, oats.

Q: Why goat milk instead of regular milk?

A: Goat milk has smaller fat molecules that absorb into skin more easily. It's also naturally rich in lactic acid, which gently exfoliates without scrubbing. Cow's milk works too, but goat milk has been our go-to since 1998 for a reason.

Q: Is this soap safe for babies and children?

A: Yes. Emily originally formulated this for her own baby's eczema. It's fragrance-free in the traditional sense (we use a very mild phthalate-free scent), uncolored, and contains no harsh detergents. We've had parents using it on newborns for over two decades.

Q: Why does this work when other "gentle" soaps irritate my skin?

A: Most commercial soaps are actually detergents that strip your skin's natural oils, then add synthetic moisturizers back. We cold-process with real oils and superfat the formula, meaning extra nourishing oils stay in the bar. Your skin gets cleaned without getting stripped.
