A Note on Packaging

Our container is made with PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic. We tried cardboard tubes from several suppliers. While we really wanted them to work, they simply don't hold up. We continue searching for the most eco-friendly solution that actually functions.

Plastic, don't bother

Very good deodorant and pleasant fragrance. Applies well if you shave your pits. But the container is single use plastic and isn't sustainable for our species. The threads kinda suck and the product gets gunked in there too. Hopefully they switch to cardboard tubes or glass jars.

Although two stars seems a bit rough, we appreciate the feedback. The container is made from PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic. We strive to move away from plastic containers as much as possible. We tried cardboard tubes from several suppliers. And while we really wanted them to work, they simply don’t. The product would stick and even when pushing really hard, it would not release. So we were left with the choice of choosing a practical package over an unusable one. We will continue to make excellent products that are healthy, effective and as always, continue our search for the best eco-conscious packaging.

Bought more than one

I bought this as a gift for relatives and they kept going on about it, so then I got one for myself too. It’s hard to find a natural deodorant that works and had a pleasant scent. This is at the top of the list, though it doesn’t work as well as aluminum deos, it’s the closest I’ve found so far.

great product

the only thing I can say is that it does not go on smoothly. even warming up on my armpit it still is not a smooth application. Given that it is a great product I am living with that

Thank you so much for this review and for feedback. This deodorant is actually formulated to be water soluble, so if you would like a perfectly soft and smooth application try dipping the tip of the deodorant stick in a little water prior to applying. The directions under Uses say: To use: warm under arm for a few seconds or apply with a tiny bit of warm water for a soft and completely smooth application. Next time we print product labels, we will add this tip. :)
